Coffee as practice,
not stimulant.

A neighborhood roaster on Central Avenue. We source from farms we know by name, roast in small lots, and pour slowly. There is a chair waiting for you.

"The best cup of coffee I've had in Charlotte. They will explain the harvest if you ask. They will leave you alone if you don't."

Inside the café

A quiet room with excellent things in it.

Two espresso machines. Four pour-over stations. Twelve seats. A long communal table made from a tree that came down in Hurricane Ian, milled in Marshville and finished by a friend.

There are books on the shelf you can read. There is no wi-fi password, but the espresso is $4 and we will remember your name by the third visit.
