For a decade the choice was: keep your digital assets with an
exchange that was, charitably, an exchange — or keep them
with a bank that didn't know what to do with them.
Aurum exists because neither answer is good enough. We hold a
Wyoming Special Purpose Depository Institution charter, a
framework written specifically to let a chartered, full-reserve
bank serve digital-asset clients under the same prudential
standards as any other depository. We are the bank our founders
wished existed when they were running custody at Anchorage, risk
at the OCC, and treasury at Stripe.
What we are not: a brokerage, a market maker, a hedge fund, a
lending desk, or a stablecoin issuer. The bank's only business
is custody, sweep, and settlement — for individuals,
businesses, and the institutions that serve them.
